Are you going to be able to get out much with the new family addition? My wife shut me down the last two springs with her pregnancies/babies.

I am sitting on 5 this year too and have the green light for all spring. Fingers crossed!

If I am not lucky enough to get drawn, I will have time to headout if anyone needs help.

ain't nobody shutting me down (besides wdfw)!  I guess I'm super lucky my wife hardly tells me no.  when my first daughter was born in 07 it was Sept 19th we come home from hospital on the 20th.  3am the morning of the 21st we are both awake a wife gives me the green light to drive over and elk hunt the very last day of the season.  So I packed my gear and off I went.

That is awesome. I am jealous haha. My son was born Sept 24th and I had to miss all big game seasons and waterfowl. My wife is getting better as the kids get older. My youngest daughter is 8 months now, and I won't miss any seasons this year. I hope.

I'm in with 0 points (or I guess you call that 1 point).

Watch out, I draw this tag with reckless abandon...  I really want to keep 100% success rate on this hunt and whack a 3rd spring bear.

My 2015 bear is on the bed, my gf likes it because it keeps her toes warm at night.   :chuckle:

Still debating if I want to spend the extra $18 or not. With 8 points I'd have decent odds of drawing but really don't have the time or money to spend 2 to 3 weeks hunting on the other side of the state. I wish they still had a permit for Capitol Forest. That'd be a no brainer.

Kapowsin - Money you save in fuel will darn near pay for the timber pass.

Good idea but I think I need to save up for Wyoming in the fall. If it wasn't for that being my priority, I'd probably do the spring bear for sure.
