Great antler

Very nice! congrats.  I really hope people realize a very small percentage of elk are losing their antlers right now and to get out and chase them around won't do them any good.  Not trying to be a dick, just worry about wintering elk getting pushed too hard.  Hope this doesn't turn  bad, congrats on your find!

The antler is laying next to green growing weeds. It's looks to be spring time wherever he is. It's not like he is chasing the elk through the snow with a snowmobile. I think taking the kids out for a walk this time of year is just fine. Great find.
:bash:
So trophy, tax payers aren't allowed to use the land they pay for this time of year? You never know where you will run into elk this time of year. I saw three bulls today about 15 miles from the nearest feed lot in a foot of snow while I was snowshoeing. Am I not allowed to be in the woods?
I don't think that was the intent of Trophy's post, he wasn't bashing the OP. They just aren't dropping yet, at least not where I hike around. Nice find!!
