Anyone shoot these and have an opinion on them?

Not a terrible head.  Does have some issues with glancing which can't be helped with such a short head and steep blade angles.  They did a reasonable job in grinding the excessively thick blades so you could get them sharp.  If you exercise patience in shot opportunity and diligence in maintaining sharpness I think it is a better than average broadhead.  I've killed animals with much worse heads, for sure.

Is it going to be a Magic Head?  No.  But so far I haven't found one of those anywhere. :chuckle:

Thanks rad.
Think you'll have a mad man or triple sec 125 out this year?

Thanks rad.

We will have a DelMastro HP, VanDyke, Ti-Con, Ultra-Con and Ultra-Con X in 125 grain this year.  All should be available around turkey season - waiting on new cards and a few titanium parts.  Then we will be cooking with gas!

The Madman and Triple Sec. are too small to add another 25 grains without losing structural integrity.  At some point in time we will likely make a new blade that is a bit longer so we can have those ferrule styles in 125 grain.  That is a long, frustrating and very expensive process. I don't expect that will happen before the 2018 ATA show.

With the accessibility of brass inserts through 3Rivers Archery many archers are starting to use 100 grain broadheads and adding the additional FOC weight through their insert.  Del and I have been doing this for the past five years.  Brass is really nice if you are hunting the westside.  Especially so if you ever plan to hunt Long Island as the salt really welds aluminum ferrules into inserts.  You do not have that reaction when using brass.
