Mine is going back to Sig. It won't range hardly past 1100 yards. I made a comment on Facebook, on the Long Range Reality show site and the filmmaker of the show, gave me the big bosses name of Sig Sauer marketing. Craig Pfiefer, is sending me a new 2000 without any questions, BEFORE, I even send mine back. WOW is all I can say, plus, he's offered me anything they sell at an employee discount, 50% off MSRP. So, I'm thinking a suppressor if he can do that...

He said the diodes and transmitters (?) have to line up perfectly to work correctly. The guys I know on the show said they are ranging out to 1700 yards consistently with no problems.

The new one he's sending me was ranging out to almost 1800 yards today..

That's some serious good service!

Indeed it is. He wasn't going to offer that at first, because I have a Vortex scope instead of the new Tango 6 ($22000 scope.) I think he felt sorry for me. Then I told him I have 3 Sig pistols, then he felt better and offered me the 50% off..
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Ok, so here is what we found pout this weekend.

Ranging stuff from the parking lot, both run neck and neck to 1250 yards on trees with the sun at our backs.

Shooting at 800 or so. The Sig is faster to get ranges than the Bushy. Both had trouble ranging targets in the sunlit snow.

Overall, after playing with both rangefinders all weekend, it comes down to basically cost. They both will do the same thing, and they will both have trouble with the same stuff. Basically, if the target is small, you need to bracket the target. We had a Cold Bore shot at 750 yards, but neither could pick up the target (it was under 2MOA). Bracketing that particular target gave ranges from 700 to 1200, the real issue her was the lay of the land as the target was on the horizon. The furthest range we used them at was 1060, and both picked it up and gave accurate info for both me and my buddy to make first round hits.

I don't think you'll be disappointed.  Sig makes a very good suppressor.  I was impatiently waiting for their new SRD45 can to hit the market because everything I've heard about them was good and thought it'd look good on the end of my Sig 1911 but I caved under pressure and couldn't hold out any longer.  Now I've got a Dead Air Ghost waiting in ATF jail.  But if I could have bought one at 1/2 price, I'm pretty sure I could have waited. lol

I'm thinking a Sig Kilo is in my near future and since that, Technically, wouldn't fall under the Wardens house rule of no new guns if I can't fit it in the safe, I'll be good to go.

The Sig suppressors aren't that expensive. I want the 762, but really don't know which one. I'll be swapping it between a few guns.
