It's nice that the Kilo gives you a number out at 3000+ yds the question is, is the number accurate.
I know mine is accurate to 1000 yds because I ranged to a known and measured distance.  But I have not attemped farther.
While I like the unit, I would be hesitant to be confident in it's measurement at 2 or 3 times that distance without first testing against a actual measured distance.

To each his own.

Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

I believe the Manuel says +/-5 after 1000 yards. I'll double check it when I get home

My range finder doesn't range perfectly at 4823 yards.  It was off by 42.037 feet!!  What a piece of junk!!
Does anyone know if their warranty is a good one?   :hello:
Friend: "Are you free tonight?"

Got one of these the other day.  I ranged once at 2352 in low light.

My interest was in a rangefinder that would be lights out to 1000ish yards and I got it.  Seriously, I aim and tap the button and in half a second it's reading 1248.7 yards  :yike:

Just grabbed one of these off a snipershide vendor. Charged me $420 shipped for it and was wondering why he was cheaper but he delivered in a brand new unopened box for me. This was the farthest I could range from my job site in Bellevue. Pinged it real quick. Now just to see how far I can get it to range and match it to my shooting dope. Pretty impressive for the little package it came in. Only negative I have heard for the price is battery life. I guess they should've planned to put two of the batteries instead of one.

Anyone checked the accuracy at short distances? Is this a unit that will work well for archery and rifle hunting?

Yes it is great at short distance. I am currently experiencing an issue...the display is very blurry. Not the optic but the reading. I will keep you all informed of the fix.

Try playing with the diopter focus adjustment at the base of the eyepiece. Check out your manual page 3 for a picture. Hope it fixes your problem.

I figured it was that but it isn't. I will have it perfect one second and the next time i pick it up it is just a faint red glow.
