I love off season training days

I forgot to take pictures, but with duck season behind us I love sunny Saturday's that I can take the lab out to the lake and work some retrievals. There is not much more fun in my book then to watching a good dog work.

That's Milt's gun.  It's been back to Beretta 3 times for repairs.  The gun has had trouble cycling even heavy hunting loads, but it appears to be working now.  The gun has been fitted to Milt who is about 5' 8" tall.  I'm 6' 1", so I haven't even tried it.   :chuckle:

My skeet buddy had the same issue with his berreta, the gas ring is poorly engineered. Our local gunsmith made a prototype gas ring, refined it some here and there and got joes gun operating ultra smooth and reliably.
