I love off season training days
« on: February 20, 2016, 11:32:18 AM »
I forgot to take pictures, but with duck season behind us I love sunny Saturday's that I can take the lab out to the lake and work some retrievals. There is not much more fun in my book then to watching a good dog work.

Here's some of the work I have been doing with a small group of friends.

Hunt hard and shoot straight!

Nice video and dog work, thanks for sharing!  I spy a 20g A400 in there, how do you like it?

That's Milt's gun.  It's been back to Beretta 3 times for repairs.  The gun has had trouble cycling even heavy hunting loads, but it appears to be working now.  The gun has been fitted to Milt who is about 5' 8" tall.  I'm 6' 1", so I haven't even tried it.   :chuckle:

My skeet buddy had the same issue with his berreta, the gas ring is poorly engineered. Our local gunsmith made a prototype gas ring, refined it some here and there and got joes gun operating ultra smooth and reliably.
