Reloading bench set ups

Finally got my reloading bench all set up, it's just missing a tumbler and powder trickler which I should have pretty soon. I put all the loaders on one end so I'd have room to mount scopes and clean rifles when need be.

I bought an old metal desk. $10 at value village
Mounted my press and powder measure with industrial self tapping screws( into 1/4" steel backing)
Totally solid and cheap and storage drawers to boot

Are you left-handed?
I like to place the cartridges with my left hand and operate the press with my right.
Small detail.
I used threaded inserts into the top of my bench so I can remove the presses pretty easily and simply bolt them back down when I want to.
I am going to Google search plans for a small take-apart bench for my press so I don't have to use my workbench top.

I had a similar set up, I cut the shelf in half on the bottom and added a shelf on the top that was about 18'' so I could put a chair under the table a bit instead of standing up to reach everything .

One question, just curios why you mounted your powder measure so far from the press? When mine is set up I have the press and measure close together, would like to know the advantage of putting the two on opposite ends of the bench. I understand having room for rifle set up.

Very nice set up Wacenturian! That's like a showcase of personal hand-loading. I've been dreaming of a room like that, if the wife could let the last "little one" go. I bet that is a very enjoyable get away when you need. Nice.

Good idea.  I use the large clear peanut butter inside small pretzel containers.  Just happen to like the pretzels.

Good call. I also save all the big plastic containers from various food items.

I bought the harbor freight bench and plan on adding a shelf/light/pegboard to the back but here she is. I haven't reloaded in several years felt good to get back to it.

Finely done and started reloading 38 spl. Had a Hunting Wa. member come over and help me out getting the dies adjusted. Now load a bunch of test five round cartridges and test them out in my different 38 caliber revolvers to see what combination each one likes.
 I bought a handgun rest to shoot from to take my wobble out of the equation.

Once I get some reloading under my belt I'll work up hunting loads for my 357mag Ruger 77/357 and for my 357mag 7&1/2" Ruger Redhawk  and my stainless 6' - 357mag  Ruger GP100.

Any suggestions on powder - bullet hunting combinations for these three guns?
