Here's what Kifaru said 2016 – Between this ultralight frame and the hunting duplex, does the curvature of the duplex vs the straight stays of the ultralight . . .Response From Kifaru Intl.: Hi Gregory,Yes, the curved stays of the hunting frame are more comfortable under heavier loads.
So, it's been great meeting some of you guys and trying different packs on. The info on this thread has been very helpful, thanks! I talked to a rep today and they offered me a great deal on their pack. I beat myself up over this decision for too long and considering three main things I bought my pack today. First money, this pack was much more affordable, I don't spend much time overnight hunting in the backcountry and most importantly, they improved and re-designed their frame. I ended up with the kuiu icon pro 7200 with all the bells and whistles. I think this pack will be perfect for my needs. The savings will enough to buy the rino 650 gps! Thanks again for the help!
Thanks, can't wait to use it!

Keep your eyes open for a sale on the xxl kuiu meat bags and when on sale the 3000 bag is a handy addition as a daypack for about $65. Throw in a kuiu branded platypus bladder while you're ordering.
The load shelf's first use of the year. I think you'll be pleased with that pack trophyhunt, I'll be interested to read your review after this hunting season.
