Turkey Hunting
« on: February 25, 2016, 10:57:02 AM »
I'm looking for one or more hunters that would like to do a Guided turkey hunt with me using Tracey Zoller out of Klickitat, Wa. I have never hunted with him before but have met him a few of times while fishing the Klickitat river. Really nice guy and he really seems to know his stuff. The cost would be $225 per person for just the hunt. I would be willing to split the cost of gas/camp if preferred. As for the dates I am pretty open to all of May and can take whatever day or 2 off that is needed to make this hunt work. This would be my first time turkey hunting which is why I was thinking of going with a guide this year. If anyone has used him in the past and or has any info with this outfitter in the I would love to hear your thoughts.

Tempted to join you as I hope to get out for my first turkey hunt this spring, but I'll probably go DIY to save a few bucks. I've got a partner and I'm trying to talk him into a trip up near Colville. If you go with Zoller, let us know how it went.

If I had a good hunting partner I would try DIY first and I didn't want to ask if anyone would let a newbie turkey hunter join there group.  Here is an email I got with dates available in May.

We currently have openings for hunting and cabins as well on May 2, 3,4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 13, and the 15 to the end of the month.  things slow down the last week or so of May but we did take birds the last day of May last year!
