No that is for the 44 carbine. What he has is the Deerfield carbine (in 44 mag). They are different models and have different extractors. Confusing I know Thanks

did you try NUMRICH? They have parts for obsolete guns.
Alot of good suggestions . Ive always wanted one of the Deerfields or 10/22 mag , but i heard the reason they were discontinued was because of problems like these. Which seems to be indicitive for semi autos chambered in rimmed straight wall cartridges .
I agree (even though I still want them ) There are a couple gunsmiths/parts collectors in my area . Next time I go in i'll ask if they have that part ....... Never know .
Have you tried Jim Wisner? Ed Lapour or Mike Palazzo could fabricate one, and also make sure your back does not suffer from sitting on a big fat wallet in the process. If you have one it could probably be copied on an EDM machine and not need to be heat treated. Perhaps the Vocational school would take it on.
