Have you tried Jim Wisner?  Ed Lapour or Mike Palazzo could fabricate one, and also make sure your back does not suffer from sitting on a big fat wallet in the process.  If you have one it could probably be copied on an EDM machine and not need to be heat treated.  Perhaps the Vocational school would take it on.

I agree (even though I still want them ) :chuckle: There are a couple gunsmiths/parts collectors in my area . Next time I go in i'll ask if they have that part ....... Never know .

Thank you, I appreciate that.  I need all the help I can get finding this darn thing.  I'm sure there is some out there somewhere that someone is hording or forgot they had. lol  There might be a bottle or some other finders fee in it for someone who can help me acquire one!

Thanks for the suggestions....Wisner is closed today so I will try next week.  I was hoping to find one instead of having one fabricated....I don't have one for them to use as a template and I'm sure it will be cost prohibitive.....my wallet is not fat enough  :o

Called Wisner today, they don't make any parts for the Deerfield.  Thank you for the suggestion though.

I know this may hurt for your friend but he may just have to bit the bullet and sell it and buy something new. My only thought would be in the future, if its this hard not to find 1 little part imagine if something else breaks 5 or 10 years from now. sucks but its an idea.
