buck pic. 1/25/09
« on: January 25, 2009, 10:31:00 PM »
got a little snow last night so we decided to go down to see if we could find some bighorn sheep.  We found about 50 of them, we put a sneak on them and got within about 100 yds.  Still a little bit out of range for the old 70-200.  On the drive home I asked the wife what she thought about the big horn pictures and she said "they sure aren't a Tony or Pope shot but pretty good for the distance."  So anyway, I'm not posting any of them but here's a few pics of the same bucks I've posted before but in the snow now.

I'm free next weekend...   :dunno:

Your photos are great.  I always enjoy the Oregon desert bucks.

Whenever I say you must have a 400mm to do wildlife photography, just look at Cameraguy's photos and he proves me wrong every time.  What you do with a 200mm is amazing.

If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
