Mazda Tribute stutter

My wife drives a 2001 Mazda Tribute. When you reach 45-55 it seems to stutter a bit. If you get on the gas more than usual it does not happen. Also if you turn overdrive off it does not happen.

any help is appreciated.

Fuel filter?. Run some seafoam fuel treatment through the tank. Also get some mass air flow sensor cleaner and remove the mass air flow sensor and clean it. ( wear gloves and do not touch any part of the actual sensor.

Cleaned the MAF sensor last week as well as plugs. Could try the fuel filter cheap and easy to get to

I'm gonna guess some seafoam would help with it. I'd run seafoam, then change the fuel filter. No engine codes I take it?

misfire codes on ford/mazdas can be none existent . I've seen the wiring harness about a inch from the pcm get streached and cause a misfire , ignition coils are common as well as the pcv harness under the throttle body causing a lean stumble . could be torque converter shudder in and out of lock up .
