So I went to Florida for 5 days and had pigs on the bait almost non-stop for 5 days.  Got home and rebaited.  FINALLY got to hunt last night.  Got into my stand at 1900 and sat until 2300.  Had a couple of coons come in and a deer.  No pigs.  Get down and make it back to the truck at 2325.  Drive home and walk in the house at 0025.  Check my phone and I have a couple of photos from my wireless camera and low and behold I have three pigs on the bait.  First one strolled in at 0015.  Who's tracking who??

While I was in Florida I got 2500 photos at the 2 bait sites.  One really nice boar with some big tusks.  Also I rarely get a daytime photo.

Sounds a lot like baiting deer or elk. All the pics are at night

Yes, but unlike deer and elk, I get to hunt them at night.  :)

One of my bait sites, when I first had the pigs coming in back at the end of March had 4 nice sized pigs on the bait.  The last 2 weeks only 3 have been coming in.  I thought maybe someone had shot pig #4, but I was wrong.  She showed back up last night and brought in at least 2 tiny little pigs.  Plus the pig that is second from the right is about to have a litter as well.

Ok, this is starting to get personal!!  :)  Last night I stayed in the stand until 0015.  Being a work day today that was already later than I should have stayed!  This guy showed up at 0146.

Fred
How big of a tract of land is this? Do you know where they go (do wild hogs have bedding areas)? Are there other hunters in the area? Sorry for all the questions  :o

Fred, take a buddy out with you and sit for a couple of hours. Then have the buddy leave at 10 or 11 while you wait.

It's on about 250 acres and there are other guys hunting this tract for hogs.  I know of at least one other bait site being run.  They are not waiting for me to leave it's just a matter of timing.  Unlike a bear they are not hanging out just out of range and waiting for me to leave.  It'll happen, I missed a few nights due to bad wind direction, can't hunt this spot with a East wind at all.  I have another property about 6 miles away that I have 7 hitting.  I was going to hunt that tonight, but the trucks clutch was acting up and I did not want to have to get towed home at midnight so I came on home.  It'll happen, I just have to put in the time.
