Stuck pig #1 at 2110, cleanly missed pig #2 at 2145. Have to come back in the morning to locate pig #1. Too thick and not able to find my arrow or a blood trail yet. Fingers crossed, sounded like a solid hit! Man O man even with the green light and a lighted sight it is REALLY tough to shoot those dark bodies at night with the bow.  Going to switch to the scoped muzzleloader from here on out.
Good job Fred! You'll find him at daylight. This will be your toughest-earned critter, I'd guess.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

So far that is very true.  Hoping the hit was as good as it sounded.

Searched for 4 hours this morning and found nada, not a single speck of blood, my arrow or the hog.  I'm sure I whacked it hard but found nothing.  Didn't spook them too bad as they were back on the bait about 4 hours later, minus the one I shot.  I'll probably find him tomorrow when the buzzards are circling.  :(    Went to bait #2 and switched SD cards and holy smokes I got 10 hogs on that bait.

Brutal night Saturday night.  Got into my stand at 1925 and sat there until 0600.  Started raining pretty hard from 0200 to 0600.  I went in on Wed night and put out 100 pounds of corn and when I got into the stand every speck was gone.  I had taken in another 50, but I'm thinking with the heavy rain they did not come in like they normally do around 0400 to 0600.  Long night with nothing to show for it.  One thing I had to chuckle at, my phone kept vibrating all night as I received photos from my other bait and the hogs were on it all night....but the wind was out of the East and I cannot hunt that stand with any Easterly breeze.  Wind is looking very favorable for this upcoming weekend.

making me want to hunt pigs ...
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
