NW Mountain Challenge 3D shoot - Stevens Pass
« on: March 03, 2016, 09:01:16 AM »
NW Mountain Challenge is coming to Stevens Pass this year. July 22-24. That's all the info I know of so far. Anyone planning on attending? I've never shot 3D and plan on giving it a go.
Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.

Is it weird that there is no information on this other than the date and location?
I'd like to go.

There info for the first shoot at Tamarack will be out soon. Should be the same format for all 3 shoots including Stevens Pass.

Anybody know if this is a "shoot at a ski hill", or is it the "run between targets shoot" where time and score determine winners? I should be off work for all 3 if it sounds like something fun. They better have an old man class if it's the running one.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

No running involved gain some elevation getting to targets. Longer distances, steep angles, things like that. Great shoots. Night shoot is a blast

Is it typically where you ride the lift up and shoot your way back down or is it hiking up from the bottom shooting on the way up?

I haven't been to one myself but my friend have 5 different courses set up I guess.  So you could do some of both.
