RRA 2 stage is a very good trigger for the price. Alg also makes some nice one stage triggers for a good price.

I deal a full line of AR parts and stock a lot of stuff and can special order pretty much anything.

If you go BHW which makes great barrels and I do a lot of builds on them. Let me know. I can skip you the wait of 3-6 months if one of my wholesalers has them in stock.

I can have the 18" and 20" 6.5 Grendel barrels in about 10 days. Both are in stock right now.

That's pretty awesome lead time.

Where do you guys usually find your parts? Brownells, midway? Or more from specific companies sites? Any tools or building kits I should get first?

Aero Precision in Tacoma forges great uppers & lowers.  Many of the "big name" AR assemblers get their parts through Aero.

For sure they stock 223/6.8/300blk and 6.5 Grendel barrels and good prices as well. Most the time I can be less then ordering them and waiting. I am signed up as a dealer for BHW but most the time I just grab one from the wholesaler much faster and good prices. They don't stock all the profiles and lengths but most the commons they carry.

I got a 24" SPR for mine. I don't think they keep longer ones on the shelf and that's why it took so long.

Oh yeah black whole does not keep anything really in stock. This is a wholesaler that buys from them and keeps them in stock that is why there is no wait time other then handling and shipping them. I don't think I have seen a 24" with them.

Is there much difference in upper and lower manufactureres? Is forged or machined the way to go?

They are all "mil-spec" in the 15, you can mix and match as you see fit.  The major difference is in the finish and coatings.  The billet ones are nicer to look at and usually have the trigger guard integrated into the lower.  The only one I have had any issues with was the Anderson forged lower, the pivot pin slots were off and caused the pin to bind.

It's .264 LBC (Les Baer Custom), as opposed to .264 Win mag.

You can with the barrel I have. I'm unsure if that's true with any Grendel.
