Not sure if I will be there in June. I usually start fishing it as early as mid April, depending on water and weather. I love our trips to the Palouse. I started getting bait last weekend!

Have any of you guy's ever caught a blue cat or a flathead on the Snake River? I've fished Farewell Bend before and caught some nice fat blue's and an oriental guy was there with cages set on the water to keep his fish alive and he was catching BIG flathead cat's with a cool piebald color of a banana yellow and brown speckling. Who else has seen this?

Fishing is getting pretty good. This is two weeks ago. We caught several nice cats and kept a few for a nice meal. I was back over there last weekend and it was slower but still caught five.

Nice fish, I might take a trip over there and fish from the bank on the main river this weekend. Always able to get 3 or 4 fish this time of year fishing it for two or three hours.
