Fishing has been good to excellent since mid April. In my opinion waiting for June is waiting to late. Don't forget your bug spray. Seems like it's going to be very bad year for bugs. If you take your dog and/or you plan on getting out of the boat for your bathroom breaks, try to do it in the sage brush areas. The tall grass is swarming with ticks!

The kids and I may swing by.  We are fishing for sturgeon up in Hell's Canyon, but if that is slow we will join all of you.

"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

All right,  got my reservations for June 3 to 6 made. I will be there with my family  but someone is going to need to teach me how ND what to use to catch catfish.

Was not sure if I was going to make it or not, a lot of crap has went down the last few months,  but my daughter wants to go and relax and try something new. Don't know exactly how she is going to feel, she has her second chemo treatment on June 1 and we are driving over on Friday morning. Just hope she is up to it, be a use she is looking forward to this trip.
