2016 Rav4 vs. Cougar
« on: March 09, 2016, 03:58:55 PM »
So being a good husband, I bought the wife a new Rav4 this past Sunday.  Tuesday night I was driving over Blewett Pass and center punched a huge cougar.  Still waiting on the estimate from the body shop because the model is so new they didn't have a parts list.  Looks like the cougar won this one.  Went back with lights and side arms but could not find the cat.  They are tough animals.  Wish it had been my Ram2500, metal bumper would have taken it better than the plastic Yota.

Oh the search was done.  snow to patchy for tracking in the duff.  No blood, no cat found.  But I do think I know where I will be putting a camera up this next season watching for a big kitty cat.

Brother-in-law did the same in Walla Walla county.  Wheel well full of hair, no dead cat.  Tough critters.
