Rock Creek Archery in Enumclaw
« on: March 15, 2016, 05:16:11 PM »
Just wanted to pass on a really great experience I had at this shop today. I haven't shot my bow in a year or so...I've been slacking and I still consider myself a newbie. My wife gave me a QAD rest for Christmas and I wanted someone who knew what the heck they were doing to install it, check my bow over and give it a quick tune up. I called to make sure they were open and headed down. Denton was a great guy to deal with. I told him what I wanted done and that I would put new strings on if he felt they needed replacement. After a quick look over he told me the strings looked fine. Installed the rest, new d-loop, made some other adjustments, did a paper tune(walk back I think)and I was done in under an hour. The shop was nice and organized with a good selection of gear. We're pretty short on good archery pro shops around here but I think I found a new place. It's a bit of a drive but it's worth it for good customer service.
Thanks Denton!

Awesome place.  Denton will take care of you for sure.   He takes care of all my bows being that I am a couple miles away.

good to hear.

Jackelope could have mentioned you were headed there. My bow hasn't been shot in 3 years. it needs a good going through as well.

I'll be going back. You can ride shotgun if you want. I left an arrow there with Denton so he could make me some more...

Great guy for sure.  Went up there one Sat right before Elk season last year and Denton did a quick tune on my bow on the spot.  I had been having inconsistent shots with broadheads and he got it shooting lasers within a few minutes.

You can buy stuff anywhere, but a good pro shop can save you a lot of heart ache & make your time shooting more enjoyable!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Got my bow back from Denton Friday evening. The strings look awesome! Gonna be heading up there in another week or so to get a new rest put on and do some paper tuning to get everything all dialed in. Already looking forward to it Denton!
