After many unsuccessful attempts I finally got one. Not a big one but about average. Finally smiling.    :whoo:

40 gr Broadside?

yep 40 grain. Since I switched to 40's nothing gets away. That coyote was about 200 yards walking away and I spinal tapped him, one role not a twitch. Bobbie was about 150-175 right behind the shoulder, he didnt twitch either. Man I love this gun!

Is there more to the story about the cat, other than the yardage you reported?  Was it a typical coyote stand, or were you set up near brush, specifically?  How long did you call before he showed up?

How long was he in your view before you took your shot? (Could you track his approach for a while? Did he 'hang up'?)
