Bow rental/lessons with rental in western wa?
« on: March 31, 2016, 09:03:50 PM »
My girlfriends brother has expressed interest in archery hunting, and is currently going through hunters safety.
I shoot just at home or at the local outdoor range, but was looking to see if there was anywhere that had bow rentals or lesson/intro's to archery that did not require you to bring your own bow.
I would help him learn on my set up...except he is like 6'3 and I am more in the 5'10 with my hiking boots on range,
My only thought so far has been going to one of the local archery shops as I am sure they would let him shoot different bows if he was serious about purchasing, but I just thought I would throw the question out here to you guys.
Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure Denton at Rock Creek Archery in Enumclaw does lessons and provides equipment. Reasonable rates too.

Next Step Archery (if I remember right) offers introductory classes and will provide basic equipment. I took a class there with a buddy prior to purchasing a bow. They teach about form/mechanics and safety. It was very helpful IMO. They were located adjacent to the Nock Point in Lynwood/Montlake Terrace area.

Rock creek archery does have intro classes with equipment provided. You can find him on Facebook too.
