When is the deadline?

July 14th.

Right now $4,890 would give you a 50% shot at drawing. :dunno:

If I was going to "flood" one this year I think I'd have to go with moose.  (2) tags available and around 2,500 tags sold at $6/ea.

After experiencing two Maine moose hunts that only give you a 6 day season, I'd LOVE to have  Sep. 1 - Dec. 31 season dates.  That long of a season sure would take some pressure off.

On second thought, the NE big game only sold 520 @ $17.00 each and that includes a moose tag.   So for $8,840 you could have a 50% chance.  Not to bad, plus you get long seasons on two other species.

 :dunno:   If you wanted a 50% chance to draw you need 2500 tickets at $6 a piece.   Only 15k   :chuckle:

Goat tag....

815 tickets @ $6/ea = $4,890

You were thinking moose...?   Also, that's (2) tags and around 2,500 tickets sold.  You would not need to purchase 2,500 for a 50% chance.

@rafflemule

You're banned from the raffles anyway, right? :chuckle:    I seem to remember HW taking a vote when you were away and it was determined for the sake of others that you are required to sit out. ;)

I did get all excited and start talking about moose, so I can see where the confusion came in. :tup:

I did sit out last year because I have the trifecta taken care of in WA.    :chuckle:    But, after going about 0-45 this year in draws I have the itch to buy a few tickets before Friday.     :sry:

I have to honest here and say I'm not rooting for rafflemule to draw, spread the luck to those not so lucky.   :chuckle:  I'm also rooting for the guys/gals who purchase just a handful of permits, love it when someone draws w one or two purchased.

I was wondering how many people had noticed the # of Goat tags sold.
This was going to be my year too. I'm young (ish), money to burn, no spouse to tell me no. I usually get 100 tickets a year. Was gonna really up my game this year.
Then life throws you a curve ball and I end up buying a new house. Haven't even closed yet. UGH!!!No way I can throw down serious cash now.
I want to see what Mnt Goat tastes like! And I love backpacking in those areas.
I just wanted to share my sob story.
