.454 for moose?
« on: January 29, 2009, 01:52:34 PM »

I was wondering what those in the know might think about using a .454 Casull for moose?
I know it's been done...Just wanted some opinions.

I know I would certainly feel my 454 Casull would be adequate for Moose, I would limit shots to probably no more than 50 yards personally, but I've never really practiced shooting it any further than that.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

It would be great for them out to about 75 yards.  Pick a big bullet.
