Just heard it on the radio.  Merle was a huge part of many of our lives over the years.  RIP Mr. Haggard, your music will live on forever.

will be missed by me and many others..got to meet his daughter and her husband in Arkansas last year...was a testament to her raising...R.I.P.

Straight to the gut  :'( he has always been a favorite of mine.  For those of you interested, "Django and Jimmie" was a great album release by Willie and Merle last year.  He had it right up to the end  :tup:

Ruined my day hearing this, catching one of his shows was always on my concert bucket list.  Guess I waited too long  :'(  RIP Merle, you will be truly missed!
