Where' the salmon at?
« on: April 06, 2016, 03:46:14 PM »
Looking to do some fishing in the next day or two for some salmon. What rivers are holding/producing? Neighbors only went out once or twice so lookin to take him out for some fun.

If I were to go out, it would be the Cow for Springers.  Barrier or Blue if banking it.

They are catching a few springers everyday at the barrier. Along with some steelhead. Also getting steelhead at Blue creek.
Talked to the separator crew Monday. I believe they said they got 369 springers Monday. 700 so far to date. Same day last year they had 17 to date!

My daughter picked up a 14lb springer last night. She was fishing with a family friend on his property between Toledo and I-5. She had one on earlier in the day but lost it, and had another hit about 20 minuets after landing the 14 pounder.

I have to call a week in advance if I want to go fishing.  >:(  and then it's usually a no go.
