Taking next friday off to get the RV up to camp. Got all my clothes washin, got most of my gear organized. Still need a few things.
Heading up tomorrow for one last scouting mission, going to hang back as to not spook the animals to much...

Got the elk itch. I have had opportunities, but it has been a few years since i have harvested an elk. I can't wait.

Went to SW got all my scent control stuff, clothes are washed and put away in the trailer. Was up in the hills today, hope to have pics after the season...
We did see more people than we thought we would see...
Oh well, most of them are road hunters anyway.

Keep us posted! I called in a monster this weekend that made me miss my already used bow tag... my wife plans to hunt ML so maybe I can get him in for her!

1 day to go... Food is packed, clothes are in the trailer. Only thing i need to do tomorrow is take the puppies (2 left) tot he vet and get there 3rd set of shots. When i get back 1 of the pups will be gone, he leaves on sat. Will write about the season when i get home on thursday or friday...
First legal animal bigger than a spike buck is meat in the freezer.
