Anyone want to help a son and dad out?
« on: April 07, 2016, 10:56:37 PM »
Took my boys and a friend and his boy turkey hunting for youth weekend.  Friends son was successful and mine was not. The property we were hunting isn't available for the regular season and my back up property is selling livestock opening weekend so I'm scrambling to put something together for my 11 yr old and myself. I got a late start in life hunting turkeys and I have a passion for turkeys that hasn't been worked on at all because of little league baseball commitments for several years now. Baseball starts late this year so here I am, looking for some love.

Thanks, Highside

Little Pend O'rielle off Buffalo Wilson Road east of Colville has a bunch of public land that holds a lot of turkey.   Also Haller Creek State land.   Or just about any other state land in the area.  It's where I harvested my first several turkeys and still visit it when giving private land a break.

Come to think of it all public land from Springdale nort to the Canadian border .....
