Kennetrek here. 2 years and countless miles and they are doing great. Like the way they hug tight to the leg and boot.

Bow or rifle? Brush country or more open terrain? If noise is a concern I always go for the kenetrek. But they do not hold up as well or keep water out as well as crocs imo. I have also had the cabelas extreme, and the newer gaiter they have, part of the instinct line. The extremes were a good gaiter for the cost. Not as durable as the croc or quiet as the kenny but half the price. And worked well. The instinct has been durable and would be decent if not for the rubber strap buckleless system they use. The strap comes loose costantly. Its so bad i removed them which makes the gaiter usless for serious use. But its still serves its purpose if the weather is bad and i dont anticipate any big water  or snow.

Got rid of my OR and went with Black Diamond. Just as tough, but quieter.  Was eying the kennetrecks, but couldn't get them I time.

OR Verglas.  I have used them hard, and am very very happy with them.  Plus they are lighter than the crocodiles which is important for me since they are always in my pack.

Rivers West Hydro-2 Powerlock System.  They have saved me from getting soaked on a number of occasions.

I have Sitka storefront ones. Not sure I really like them as they aren't real tight to my calves. But I own them so won't replace until they wear out. They do work well to keep me dry tho.
