good Taxidermy shop on the West Side?
« on: April 10, 2016, 02:44:35 PM »
looking for a good shop to get some African trophies done...  Going on a Bowhunt in South Africa in June for plains game.  Debating on getting mounts done there and shipping them home, or shipping the salted hides, horns and skulls home and having it done here...  Decision is gonna come down to price, quality, and ease thru customs..   Any recommendations or experiences would be greatly welcomed...  This is a once-in-a-lifetime hunt, so I want the best and easiest I can afford with a retired budget... :)

Peters Taxidermy in Graham is very good, have them do my animals and birds. I believe they can arrange to have the trophies shipped to them so you don't have to make arrangements. Had my Africa animals done over there and did not get near the quality you get from Peters.

Nature's Way, Mike does incredible work! Visit the shops and look at the taxi's work first hand.
Shut up and Hunt!

Cedar River Taxidermy and Rainier Taxidermy. I've used both and highly recommend both.

:yeah:
Like JBar said visit the shops and see which one meets your criteria. It should worth your time knowing ahead of time who you will be sending the pelts/horns to.  :twocents:

Mike is a stand up guy at nature's way. I would go there first and then go check out the other places. I bet you will go back they do awesome work..
