I live in Arlington. I have a drahthaar, would be fun to get together to do some training.

NWGSP- you live decently close as well. Not sure if you get together to train with people or not but you are always invited as well. I train everyday and weekends we have a few guys get together somewhere. We train for hunt tests and regular hunt stuff.

Sounds like we need to do a training day down in Skagit County somewhere.  Unfortunately my weekends in April are shot but maybe sometime in May.  I'd love to meet a few other members from the board and learn a few things!

Higgins methods are great for relatively soft dogs. I do like some of his training tools though, specifically his launcher.

And whoa isn't a command to be used around game. There's a ton of books and supposed experts who say it is. But it truly isnt.
