Called that one bango.

Huh?

Ya that's what I was getting at, the huck pack is on the Rez a lot. I didn't think they were going as far north as some of the sightings and reports were coming from. I was kinda hoping I was wrong but I'm pretty sure there's another pack in your area there . :sry:

There are wolves in almost every main area of the NE.  The notion that "this pack is here" or "that pack is there" is no longer valid - there are just wolves everywhere the same as cougar or bear.  I hear wolves, cut tracks, find scat or even physically see them 90% of the time I have gone out this year and I haven't worked hard to do it.

I have seen conclusive wolf evidence this year in GMUs 101, 105, 117, 113, 108 and 111 in that order.  This is all in about 10-12 days in the woods.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

That pretty much sums it up.  I know of multiple lone wolves roaming around outside of any official pack territory.  They cover tons of ground and are likely to pop up anywhere.

One collared male from the huckleberry pack in particular has been wandering all over the unit.  Very accomplished traveler that one.

Ouch.... maybe you ought to invite me over for deer or elk season and I'll see if I can do better, I do hold both a multi season deer and elk tag.

That collared alpha male left the huck pack when the state shot the alpha female. Traveled north and found other wolves and formed The stranger pack.
