looking for a fishing spot

just moved to the Moses lake area and would like to know of a good place to catch some perch, crappie, or any other fish? thanks

well there' small ponds in the middle of wheat fields and they have brown trout in them!! :chuckle: :chuckle:

a lot of the lakes in the refuge have great fishing for spinyrays and trout...they get their fair share of traffic too though...but it is a fun area to fish and wander around.

moses lake itself has a ton of walleyes. they are frickin eveywhere

Where I90 crosses Moses Lake is supposed to be killer for crappies in the spring, the Coulee City marina should be producing perch right about now, I would assume through the ice, if you have a boat Billy Clapp is a under utilized lake with lots of everything.  If you really want to catch a lot of perch hit the Winchester Wasteway from Jan. to about March, where it crosses road 5 about 5miles east of Quincy, you can catch perch all day there.

sprague was good last time I was there for walleye,heard they killed the lake
