Stolen chainsaw... La Center
« on: April 14, 2016, 10:01:26 PM »
Stolen between 930 PM and 400 am the night of the 13th, morning of the 14th. Stihl 044 older model with screw in gas and oil caps, newer 32" bar... I can very well describe this particular saw and what sets it apart from the rest. Filing a police report tomorrow since I got home too late today. Can't sleep now knowing someone's pilfering around my place  :bdid:

Unfortunate to hear that Fast.  Hopefully it gets found/resolved and no more pilfering goes on.  Check the local pawn shops and CL for the next few weeks......

Damn a man who'll steal a saw.

Sorry to hear that.  I'll keep an eye out.  If you need to borrow one I have a 029 with a new chain and fresh dress on the bar.

Stop by anytime.  I try to keep a beer in the cooler.  Sounds like we need some block parties around the state.  Cement type.... :peep:

Write down the s#. Without that no one will give your saw back if you do locate it.
I'm not sure.

Working on that, dad bought it from Camas Power in the early 90's. So mom is seeing if she had records, they are checking with the saw shop, and Cowlitz rigging is checking with stihl to see if they have anything under my dads name.  Keeping my fingers crossed.
