Back from Vacation pics.
« on: January 30, 2009, 03:39:16 PM »
Just got back from a winter Vacation. Had a great time and 75-80 degree weather was nice. We went to Disneyworld for three days then a Disney cruise to the Bahamas for four days.

Animal kingdom resort

On the ship

food all over the place

pulling into Nassau. Atlantis resort for the day.

Pulling into castaway Cay. (disney's private island )

That's awesome! We've cruised Princess a couple times, we love cruising and are hooked on it, but Princess kinda caters to blue hairs. I may have to pick your brain on the Disney tour. (My sons are almost 3 and almost 5. The help on the ships loved them likely because they don't get to see their own kids for 10 months at a time! But there wasn't alot oriented towards them.)

Neat photos!

all cruises cater to blue hairs but come 6pm when they are all in bed you can get around without them complaining. did you guys get to ride the life boats into port? when my wife and i took our cruises we  had to take the life boats into a couple of the ports. the fun one was  when the wind and waves were to high to get into skagway we went to a little town called hoonah and had to ride the life boats to town in 7-10 swells and one lady just about barfed from sea sickness at the dock. the front of the boat would drop and  the back would be out of the water and would  lurch forward when it came back down. for anyone who has never gone on a cruise i highly recommend it. where else can you get  gourmet food a room and see the places you get to see for the price. my alaska cruise was $549 a person. i took a 4 night 5 day  up to prince rupert to see if i even liked  cruising for $280.  lots to do for  everyone on board kids, adults and even the blue hairs. where else can  you get 5  5ths of rum for 40 bucks.
