Was down there hunting upland game last year and we had a pack light up our canyon at 9:00 in the morning.  Yes, we had better get used to it.  Still waiting for them to show up in King County

Plus the one that was hit on I-90 last year in King County. There on the west side just takes awhile for them to get seen.

3 were seen yesterday in Skagit county just west of Concrete up a Jackman creek road.

There have bee. Wolves sighted by loggers in that area a d north for quite some time. Unfortu atly I could get none of them to speak up about it. When I had my encounter ouside of sedro woolley I was surprised. When a member here and wsaa hunting advocate got photographic proof of a pack on the nooksack river with the whole pack and footprints he was rebuffed by the wdfd. They said they were likely hybrids.

Low Estimates Hide Extent of Impact

But regardless of the number of breeding pairs counted, central Idaho is saturated with wolves. Other wolf packs and breeding pairs are constantly forming and dispersing to saturate adjacent areas – yet an unknown number of them are never included in the current year’s minimum estimated wolf population.

It can be argued that most of these undocumented wolves will probably be documented sooner or later if they remain in the area, since 17 new packs were reportedly documented in 2007. But by pretending that the minimum estimate reflects the actual number of wolves, officials and the media downplay their negative impact. In todays paper they killed the alpha female when they darted her to put a collar on. So sad. They said she had a litter that was about 6 weeks old.

Never gonna happen.  And saying maybe wdfw did it on purpose to delay delisting?  Come on.  Youre giving them too much credit for being evil geniuses.  Its just plain incompetence at work there.  Denial and refusal to confirm works just fine for them anyway.  No need to kill their precious little wolves to claim lower numbers
