Statistically it is possible.  Odds are not in your favor.  However, some people just get lucky!

Anyone that puts in technically has at least one point.  Each year when you buy an application you get a point.  It's not likely that you'll draw on your first year, but it is possible.

I know one guy who drew a moose tag the first year applying, however it was an easier hunt to draw statistically speaking.  Know of another that drew with 2 points.  Both shot MONSTER bulls so there luck continued through the hunt.  With our system it is possible but given how the points get squared we have already started seeing where the top end point holders are pulling more of the tags every year.

I know 2 different people that drew tags with less than 10 points. In the world of O.I.L tags thats basically 0

Everybody has at least one point when they apply.

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Yep it happened 2014 for a kid out of the Tricities for a Manson  sheep permit, it was his first hunt of any kind. And grade creeks dad helped him, and didn't even get a thank you after showing him the sheep plus capping it out for him.  :bash:

Some people just don't have any clue about common decency about life.  :bash:

As his dad said "Talk about *censored* house luck"
