I've gotten a couple of big boar coons with fist-sized, bald, scarred patches on their backs here in Seattle lately (sorry I didn't think to take pictures).  Is this from fighting and is it an indicator of coon overpopulation?

I've seen a few like that but never could decide what did it. Another coon, big dog or?

  My guess would be getting rolled d under a car at 35 mph I hit one at about 35 and it rolled got up and ran  :dunno: it was with my truck but I felt a couple bounces under there
