The Fur Shed ~ Undeliverables Names / Members

Okay guys and gals I think we finely got this issue straightened out.   :IBCOOL:

As you know we have been having problems with some of our members addresses and them getting their newsletter.  This has frustrated me, WSTA EX. Secretary, Membership Secretary, Treasurer and the President to know end. It also had the printer trying to figure out just what the problem is.  Since the Printer uses a National Data base for our members names where is the problem.........?  Oh we finely found it.   :IBCOOL:

It is in several areas.
1st it starts with members.  You need to either print clearly so the secretary can read your handwriting.
2nd, the Secretary made a few small mistakes
3rd, the Post Office ......... is lazy!  They don t like to have to think.

Okay here the mistakes
The Post Office needs your address to read either:  RD or Road  :yike: Depending on the mail.
example:  on some addresses the reason you were not getting the newsletter is that you shortened up your address to say "RD" so the Secretary puts it in his data that way.  The Post Office has you as "RD" for first class mail (stamp) but with Bulk mail it has to say "Road" if not the newsletter, magazines, etc. will not be delivered to your home.  We have three members that we have to change their addresses over from "RD" to "Road" to please the Post Office.

One of our members that live in Eastern Washington his address is SR 28.  Because it is in Bulk Mail he will not get his newsletter so we have to write his out as "State Route 28".  I guess the Post Man doesn't know where SR 28 is or what "SR" stands for  :bash:

Another one that your going to love is our Secretary made a small mistake and he put a space between the number and the letter.  Example;  12345 1 st ST NE.  Because there is a space between the one and the "st" they can't deliver the newsletter.  They don't or can't find: 12345 ~ 1 ~ ST ~ street NE, because there is no "ST" street.  It should read 12345 1st St NE.  I guess they can't think on their feet.   :bash:

So for everybody that gets they newsletter late we're sorry  :sry: but we have it straightened out now.....we hope.  You can help so when you fill out and application to renew or be a new member, please print your name clearly and give us the right spelling of your address so we don't have to go through this again.

See ya down the "RD" ~ "Raod"
JC   :hello:
