*censored*
« on: April 26, 2016, 08:15:56 PM »
So on the 16th I am hunting with my best friend, his 16 year old daughter and my dad. I decide to leave my shotgun home for the day hoping the 16 year old would get the opportunity. I usually don't hunt until my friends and family are done.

So at 6am we are all set up and listening to a Tom gobble in the roost. I see a white dodge come southbound by the alfalfa field and within minutes it's coming back northbound. It parks in the road and driver gets out and starts walking towards the roost tree the tom was gobbling in. Tom shuts up and I get up and walk to the suspect vehicle. Take a couple pics and wait for the guy to come out. After a few minutes the trespasser makes his way back to the truck. I take a pic of the guy in the field. He comes up with a bunch of excuses that don't add up. I'm not happy with him at this point.  He drove right by two no trespassing signs.

Public road but private field and he walked out into the field?  What was his excuse?  Pretty hard to assume cultivated fields as public land...  Good way for him to earn a bad rep.

Great post, might as well shame people who do that crap, whether or not you reported it to the sheriff.

Wow.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
