Oh , and I missed out on the elk burgers  :bash: I thought they were all gone  :'( I ended up going to Burger King for a whopper  :'( :'(

The trophy was awesome too, hope you all got to see it in person! I'm proud to be the first to be named on the trophy!! Thank you!!! And thanks for not imbarassing me in from of every one  ;)

So , whens the next meet??  :)

Thanks Cat for hosting this event.  It was my first and it was great seeing some of you again and meeting some new faces.  Bucklucky - sorry you missed the burgers.  I brought the whole pile home untouched.  Wish I'd have known I'd have sent a stack of patties home with you at least!

Thanks again.  My daughter was stoked about the new smoker!  We have a 12 pound Chinook in the freezer that will break it in.

You should have said something my freezer was only a few 100 yrds away and I could have fit a lot of those burgers in it. ;)

Great time for sure, even though I had to go and leave early, something about the kid sitting on a curb waiting for me doesn't appeal to the wife... :bash:  Anyhow, thanks again for a good afternoon.  Who won the raffle????

Which one we had lots. The bear one was won from a person that I will not name until Killbilly post the ticket #. And no it was not me. I sold the tickets so to make it far I did not enter.

The Lucky winner of the Guided Bear Hunt donated by Tony Morales of Goat Rocks Adventures Is:

Drum roll!!!!!!!!   Ticket Number 415671

It should be in the hands of Jeff Houkom.
I don't have his handle but I'm sure he will soon be identified.

Congratulations Jeff.

One other Unclaimed Ticket is number 415553 for a Rocky Mountain Elk foundation Knife & a Ducks Unlimited Beanie. This ticket was sold today but the winner left before the drawing.

A huge thanks to Brian for his long efforts in organizing the meet and Helping us with the Raffle which brought in $455.50 for the Youth Hunter Fund.

Also a huge thanks to my co-worker and friend Greg (WADU1) for his culinary skills and the Buffalo and Lamb he provided. We ate well. Greg also donated a large amount of the items that were Raffled off today.

Runamuk (Troy and Rori) donated the Youth Shotgun and youth insulated clothing.

Bowhunter1972 donated a climbing tree stand.

It was very educational watching Bow4elk scoring a couple of racks and sheds today.

I know more folks donated but I must apologize for not remembering names.

Contact me and I will give credit where it is due.

Bucklucky,... hummmm
I know the bull you shot was not very big, but you should be able to find part of the critter to grind and make into a burger, instead of eating at Burger King!  :chuckle:

Iceman, is happy birthday in order? I see you've gone from 12 to 13.  :dunno:

Mr and Mrs Cat...thanks for hosting the get together.

Big thanks to Kelly and Brian!!!

Blessed owes me big time for taking the heat (the wrath of Kelly) when he knocked the ammo and movies off the auction table. I'm still not sure why I got kicked. :chuckle:

It was great to hear the hunting stories first hand from bucklucky, Alpinegus, and Blessed.
