Leaving San Diego at 1201 the morning of the 14th. Only a 9 hour drive but gonna get through the desert and Las Vegas at night to avoid the heat and traffic. Should be getting to camp at around 1030 after a couple of stops. That will give me 5 days to learn how to breath at 10K ft and ride around on the quad looking for elk.

Broke my Mathews (back up bow) but am getting it back tomorrow. Mathews honored their warranty so everything is good but it had me nervous for sure this close to the season.

Good luck and post pics when you get back.
