When I was packing and guiding hunters in ID and MT, it was my life's goal to be a brown bear guide. You ever elk hunt Kodiak?

Did the bear have an injury on its nose? in some of the pictures it looks like he might have taken a bullet square to the schnoz, you can see in the skull pics that this isn't what happened but his nose looks a little tore up? would be cool mount with old battle scars and busted tooth, love character in taxidermy

Was meat taken from this bear ? Not sure I understand. A monster of a bear, but was only the head and hide taken ?

My friend brought home the meat off his bear one year from prince of whales Is from a spring hunt, terrible meat, even the sausage tasted like crap.
