Idaho deer
« on: May 16, 2016, 10:48:25 PM »
Looking at deer hunting Idaho. If not this year for sure next year. All so looking at Idaho's Controlled deer hunt for in November for mulies. Was wondering if any of you guys have been lucky enough to draw any of these hunts and been successful and would like to share their experience or if you just have gone to Idaho and hunted the general over the counter tag. I do have some areas in mind and been doing my research but would like to hear any kind of info. I do plane on taking a few trips to go scout the area and to look at the lay of the land but do to some unexpected family medical finances coming up not sure how much time I will get to go scout. If your willing to give any info that would help would be appreciated very much. Thank Matt.

What area are you planning on hunting....i went last year for the first time and had a blast....whitetail in the rut is pretty exciting...I have family there so I didn't have to scout so that helped a ton

Yeah im 29 and in pretty good shape but shure i need to get into better shape. Ive been trying to plan a Idaho hunt for the last 7 years but hunting buddies keep backing out so im going to bite the bullet and fly solo and hopefully im rewared with a nice mulie. Im not set on any unit yet those are just the one that drew my attention but im open to any suggestions.
