Good luck!  How do you keep your peanut butter crackers from getting all smooshed up?  Love those things, always have them in daypack while hunting . I don't bring them backpacking because they turn into mushy crumbs.

they get a little broken but not totally smashed usually. even so, ill eat them every time. one of the few foods i pack i can say that about. i pack all my food in quart zip locks (daily) and then load that kifaru mega pull out. its kind of the right shape to not get smashed i think. last year i was able to pack a bag of ruffles in without them getting crushed, but that was august weekend hunt and i didn't have a ton of gear.

The stax are always a good choice....they fit very conveniently into most spotting scop pockets  :chuckle:

Kitkats & Twix are awesome on colder hunts....but i hate when they get melted....no high end fancy super bars or gels ??

Those stinger products sure can give a guy a boost

Why muffs over plugs?

I went to the energy shots for awhile from coffee.  It was always perfect timing for when I would just arrive at my ambush spots ... if you know what I mean.  Ended the season with trying to not take anything in the morning.  Just never really felt like I was getting a boost at all ... seemed more mental than anything.  Good hydration usually makes me feel 100x better than any coffee or energy drink.  I did a few years of overnight shifts during and after college.  Started drinking coffee at the first break, and 3rd break and always just felt tired and *censored*ty.  Went to drinking water or nothing and there was a huge difference.

Wow, you must be conditioned for ultra low calories. One column might get me to lunch. Awesome set up other than the food.  :chuckle:
