Barnes Tipped TAC-TX Bullets 300 AAC Blackout/ 300 Whisper (308 Diameter) 110 Grain Flat Base Lead-Free Box of 50

Kinda curious if this will work in a .308 anyone try it or have any opinions?

cant see why it wouldn't. As long as you can get some load data.

Depending on your twist rate they might work good. I tried some 110 nosler varmageddon in one of my 308's. They shot alright. I would think something like a 1:12 twist would be great since my 1:10 shot alright.

So a 1-10 twist might be too much of a twist?

Might be from what I have seen in mine. The quicker the twist generally means it will do better with a heavier bullet. The slower the twist better for the lighter end bullets. There are exceptions and some bullets will just flat shoot in any twist. Would not be to expensive to try and might work good.

Would you guys recommend a similar powder charge to a regular .308 Barnes tsx?

As long as it's for 110 grain projectiles.

I don't have any experience with the barnes in a 308. I ran h335 with the noslers.
