I do the same thing... but I use the inside of the ocular lens cover... rather than the outside of the objective lense cover.... either way it works very well.

I actually do the same thing except I reduced mine down and scotch taped it to the stock (about 1" x 1.5"). Good idea though

That's a good idea.  On that picture, what is that extra ring behind the back ring?  Is it a level for target shooting?

I like the idea of haveing the chart on the scope cover but I beak a few pairs a year so I keep my chat taped to the stock. Whith the flash in this pic. you cant read the chart. It's in 50yard increments from 300 to 1000 yards, in MOA

Have one on all my hunting rifles to match the load and POI.  Have them on my sons and daughters rifle also.  Had them for many, many years.  Ole boy was talking to us one day, and he asked her what that was stuck on her rifle.  She tells him it's my "cheat sheet" and then explains what it is and how to use it.  Guy was amazed that she knew so much.  She knows nothing about ballistics.  She just checks the yardage, looks at the sheet, holds accordingly, and kills the deer.  Not complicated at all.  Not too many hunters understand or even know their rifles ballistics.  A cheat sheet makes it so anyone will know where to hold in a given situation. Does not mean they will make the shot, but they will know where their bullet will hit if they do their part.

Yes it is.  EVERY shot should be level.  :hunter:  :chuckle:
