Best style broadhead

Due to having shoulder problems I won't be able to use my 70lb bow this year for elk hunting, and am wondering if a trocar tip broad head is still ok to use, or should I go to a cut on contact head? Thanks in advance.

I guess that would help. Right now I'm shooting 50lb and will probably not make it past 55lbs.

I would look at the Savora Ti-Con. Last year I had a should operated on and I was only able to pull 53 pounds. My set up was a Bowtech CPXL 53# and my draw length 29.5 shooting a 450 grain arrow. I shot one big cow at 30 yards got a pass through, shot an ok size whitetail buck at 25 yards pass through. The blade angle is not real steep on the Ti-Con which I believe leads to better penetration for bows the produce lower kinetic energy.
I shot the Muzzy Trocar and I have taken several elk with them. I just don't think the Trocar will penetrate as well do to how steep the blade are.
This is just my $.02
