I would lean toward the Columbia as well since there are three people. Trying to keep everyone together in one boat is difficult in a drifter. That usually calls for a second boat and guide if you want to be comfortable. On the big river someone like Reel Adventures out of Sandy, OR could fish three in one boat with plenty of room to spare. Now, finding a WA or OR guide to concentrate on catfish...that might be more difficult. Most of the guys I know that say they guide for catfish...That means they will be the designated driver in Portland as you go from strip club to strip club without the wives or fiancé knowing.
I don't know the Klick but there are a couple guides that fish it. They are in a drift boat though so they won't be able to take your whole group. I'd do some googling to find the guides. For a less scenic trip but far more fishy you might consider fishing the Columbia with summer runs. On a good day you can hook over 20 fish, lots o fun. I know one guide I can recommend if that sounds like something you'd like to do. Send me a PM.
